First thing I thought when I saw this video was “Death On A Stick”. I’m really not sure why, because it’s really “Death In A Video”.

David lies to us! He doesn’t have a stupid laugh! His laugh sounds like a million angels are laughing! Oh wait, maybe it’s just one angel .

Freebie #3

I was listening to this on youtube, came across it while lurking, and I just had to share it with you. Of course, I’ve heard and watched this video before, but listening to it after awhile of having listened to it, it makes me want to cry, it’s so magical.

Listen to how it lifts your spirit. If you are a religious person, it takes on a special sentiment. He sang this at his LDS Church. Here’s the story behind it:

Hey there, I just wanted to pass on a cool experience I had last night. Yesterday I got a phone call at about 3:18 pm from the Archuleta’s. I was asked if I would be available to play for David for a fireside that he was speaking in the next couple of hours. Brett Hales, a friend of the Archuleta’s, was asked to speak on trials and how to overcome them. Brett has M.S. and was on a feeding tube less than six months ago and could have been counting his final days, but miraculously now is up and about and doing pretty darn good. He decided to bring David along to share. So, I cancelled everything from my busy Sunday evening, loaded up the kids, and went to this fireside, which was held at a school for troubled youth. It is a 10 month in-house program that helps these kids ‘right the ship’. What was interesting about all of this: most of them had never seen David sing because they don’t watch T.V. there. This was their first experience of hearing him. David sang “Angels” and “Be Still My Soul” and did an incredible job of telling of his experience on American Idol. I was fortunate to accompany David on both songs. The piano that they had there was not amazing, but it worked out. Be Still My Soul is an arrangement that I did for David a while back. I have included a link for you to listen to this performance. When he sang it, you could just feel the Spirit come over the room. The directors of the school were in tears, because they said these kids don’t feel this way very often. It is hard for them to feel the Spirit or recognize it because of their current state and their attitudes. But, it was more than evident that they did. You could see it in their eyes and I can only pray that they find the desire to have it in their lives even more. David was also so good to stay and talk to everyone who wanted to. He signed autographs, took pictures, and just gave words of encouragement for almost an hour and a half. It was so awesome to see his willingness to share. Anyhow, Enjoy! Richard.

It is such a sweet story. And me, being a Catholic, it means much more me. The message in the song…it’s just so….magical, so much I can’t even explain. I wish I could learn to play this song on the piano. I already know Crush, but I don’t know many other Archie songs. I’m going to work to learn them by ear. That’s how I learned Crush .

Cook gets a huge welcome from his home!

We have to give Cook our props today! He was in tears when he was presented a mural made by his wonderful fans in Blue Springs, and Cook was there for the unvieling. This is a very special day for him

BLUE SPRINGS, Mo.  –  The City of Blue Springs unveiled a mural on Friday in honor of native son American Idol David Cook.

Cook is in town for the American Idols Live Tour on Friday and Saturday at the Sprint Center. Members of Cooks family attend the mural unveiling in downtown Blue Springs along Main Street. But, city officials weren’t sure if Cook would be able to make it himself.

Cook did, in fact, make his way to Blue Springs on Friday. He watched the unveiling with tears in his eyes.

FOX 4 was there and presented Cook with a gift from a group of fans called the “Cook Chatter Girls.” It was a massive slab of granite with David’s name, a picture of a guitar and the name of every fan who contributed.

The fans sent the gift to FOX 4 and we were able to present it to David. He also received a booklet and letters from all the fans. He was very touched, thanking the fans as our cameras rolled.

Tickets are still available for the American Idols Live Tour at the Sprint Center. You can buy them at Ticketmaster.

FOX 4 is interviewing Cook again before tonight’s concert. We’ll have more of that later today.

Isin’t that sweet? I think we should devote more of this day to Cook. He’s a wonderful guy who ahs supported and still supports our Archie every single day.  Cook even wears a David Archuleta wristband! Today should be “Cook Day”. Let’s hope they have a wonderful time singing at the show today in Kansas City!

But can’t you not wait for the interviews with David Archuleta asking him how he feels to be in Cook’s homeland, like how they did for Cook when they were in Utah! Omygoshashley! :O

Mavid is slowly growing less popular, atleast for the archies, as the ARCHUCOOK takes over the stage. Well, it seems tonight’s theme was “Hugs, Anyone?”

Not only is this one of the funniest of the ArchuCook dances, what makes it so funny is David’s reaction. Watch…

Yes, David has been rendered paralyzed and speechless by Cook’s charismatic and…kind of suprising approach. You can just imagine Archie saying in his head, “…What the heck?”. I think Archie at first was thinking, why didn’t Cook bow? I need to do my jumping act on him, and they maybe smack a nutterbutter on his head . I killed the poor flowers the other night . Just watch his reaction at the Cookchuleta (Second video in HQ is recommended). And then watch Cook’s reaction to Archie’s reaction…..A lifetime of NutterButters wouldn’t be as good as this !

Although the Mavid was pretty funny last night. Hula Hoops?? Lool. I think we have to give Cook his props!

Again, somehow videos are not appearing! Has youtube banned them on purpose or something? Hopefully some will appear later today or tommorow. If they don’t, I think it’s safe to say that the Cookleta is doing us justice good enough for now, isin’t it? We don’t need any more ODD-related deaths than we can help .

Yay, news! Yesterday was a bit depressing…no news . Luckily we got some stuff for yah today!!

It looks like the official release date is November 4th. The official RADIO release date is September 2nd.

Now, Fanblast has made a request to all David fansites, so I’m going to honor it:

The official RADIO RELEASE DAY is coming up this Tuesday, September 2nd.  For all of us, it has been renamed “Archie Download and Request Day”…  Randy, who spearheaded this campaign, has asked all of David’s fansites to gather the Archies and Arch Angels to:
